Access Satement For Quality Bed and Breakfast
Introduction
We aim to cater for the needs of all visitors in our home based on 5 bedroom bed and breakfast. The following statement is a summary of our provision. If you have any specific questions please feel free to call us and we will endeavour to help.
Pre-Arrival
There is a bus stop opposite our front gates and there is a
frequent bus service
The main train station is 15 minutes away by car.
There is a local taxi service that has accessible taxis if
required, we can make a booking for you.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
On Arrival to the property there are double entrance gates, these are open 24 hours when the B&B is operating. Marked parking bays but there is ample room for all cars
The surface is level, flat and however there is a footpath made of tarmac which covers the length of the parking to the front entrance.
We can assist guests with luggage
The village is a few minutes walk from the Bed and Breakfast
Main Entrance & Reception
The front door has one step 17cm high..
The front door is always locked but we do have a bell and guest are given a key
There is carpet flooring throughout the ground floor
Public Areas - General (Internal )
Corridors have a good colour contrast and are well lit
The flooring on all corridors on the ground floor are carpeted
The covering on stairs and upstairs corridors is short pile carpet
no animals allowed
The breakfast room is on the ground floor.
There are 7 stairs to a landing followed by a further 7 stairs to the first floor bedroom.
The stairs are 18cm high, 24cm deep, 85cm wide
there is full cental heating thoughout
Public Areas - WC
3 Bedrooms are en suite one with private bathroom available
Dining Room & Lounges.
Breakfast is served in the breakfast room on the ground floor. There are two steps
Tables have underspace. There are chairs with arms and which can be moved to accommodate.

Bedrooms
There are 5 bedrooms on the first floor
Door widths (main and bathroom) are 78cm wide
Can either be a double bedded room or a twin bedded room
At least 85cm routes within the bedroom e.g. to the side of beds, between beds and dressing table, therefore allowing for left or right transfer to beds in any combination
tea coffee also provided
all rooms have bed side lights
Television with remote control
Divan beds are provided
Two armchairs are provided in the room with dressing table and wardrobe
There is a TV with freeview in all rooms
Fitted short pile carpet on the floor
Good contrast in decoration
Grounds and Gardens
We have a large enclosed garden (flower border and lawn) for residents which is available to sit in (bench available)
dog allowed only in cars
There is a local 300 metres walk from the B&B where dogs (and owners!) can get more exercise.
Additional Information
Mobile phone reception is generally good
We are able to use the front and back doors in the need of evacuation, the fire alarm rings continuously if evacuation is needed. If you require more assistance for evacuating
please notify us on arrival and we will ensure you are evacuated safely e.g. hearing impairment.
We are a no smoking building (smoking is allowed in the large garden which has level entry and bins are provided
